When you buy a Clara Vale Studio digital product, you are buying a license to use it. You are not buying ownership of the design, content, or copyright. Clara Vale Studio keeps all rights not granted in this license.
This license applies to ebooks, Google Sheets, Excel, Notion, and Canva templates, printables, and course materials, whether you buy on our website or through a marketplace such as Etsy, Amazon KDP, Patreon, or Skool.
The license tier you bought is shown on the product page and your receipt. If no tier is shown, the Personal license applies.
License tiers
Personal
- For one user.
- Use the product for your personal life and to run your own business, such as tracking your own budget, planning your own content, or managing your own clients.
- You may not use it to create products or services for others to buy.
Business
- For one user.
- Everything in Personal, plus you may use the product in your own commercial projects. For example, you may use a template to organize client work or include printed or exported results in work you deliver to a client.
- The product itself must stay a tool you use. You may not hand over or sell the editable template or file.
Team
- For internal use by a small team within one business or organization.
- Team members may access and use the product for that organization’s work.
- The number of people covered is shown on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us before sharing with your team.
- You may not share the product outside the organization.
Extended
For uses not covered above, such as larger teams, reselling rights, white-labeling, or including our materials in products you sell, please contact us at hi@claravale.studio. Extended licenses are agreed in writing, case by case.
What you may do
With any tier, you may:
- Download, open, and edit the product for your own use under your tier.
- Make copies for backup.
- Customize templates with your own data, colors, and branding.
- Print printables for your own use, or for your team’s use under a Team license.
- Share screenshots or short excerpts to review, recommend, or talk about the product, with credit to Clara Vale Studio.
What you may not do
Under any tier, unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not:
- Resell or redistribute the files, templates, or ebooks as they are, or with small changes, whether for free or for money.
- Share download links, template copy links, or login details with people who have not bought their own license.
- Claim the design as your own, remove our credits, or present the product as your original work.
- Upload the files to shared drives, file-sharing sites, marketplaces, or template galleries where others can access or copy them.
- Use the products, in whole or in part, to create competing templates, ebooks, printables, or courses.
- Use the products for any unlawful purpose.
Courses and memberships
Course and membership materials are for the enrolled member only. Do not share videos, downloads, or community content with others, or record and republish live sessions.
Third-party tools
Our templates are built for tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Notion, and Canva. Your use of those tools is subject to their own terms. Canva templates may include elements licensed through Canva, and Canva’s own content license rules apply to those elements.
If the license is broken
If you break this license, your right to use the product ends automatically, and we may disable access or take other steps allowed by law. Refunds are not provided for licenses ended this way.
No warranty
Products are provided as described on the product page and under our Terms of Use. See our Refund Policy if a product does not work.
